Founded in 1916, Birds Connect Seattle—formerly the Seattle Audubon Society—is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit and the first conservation organization established in Washington State.
We focus on urban conservation with a commitment to an antiracist, inclusive approach to protecting birds and the natural spaces we share. We offer a wide range of environmental education programs, field trips and neighborhood bird outings, community science projects, and public outreach initiatives that inspire people of all ages to learn about and protect the birds that enrich our lives.
